Since a very young age, I have had a deep love and appreciation for nature and a passion for flowers, plants and the outdoors. This made clear early on that I wanted to pursue a career in floral design. I have been working with flowers since the age of 15 and launched Sparrow 20 years ago. Years later, I still cannot imagine anything I would rather do.

The designs I create are based on my love for the finest flowers, the fragility and fleeting nature of the seasons and an admiration for art, colour and design. When working with clients, I draw inspiration from all of these elements while expressing the personalities and sensibilities of the individual. This includes creating ceremony and reception flowers for weddings and special events, floral installations, design collaborations and flowers for occasions big or small. Each is treated with an equal level of  importance and care. 

I seek out unique materials, foraging and tirelessly researching the most special seasonal blooms to bring your most unique vision forward. I find my work deeply exhilarating, inspiring, and enlightening.  It feeds my soul. The intention behind my work has always been to share the enchantment of flowers and to encourage a moment of pause and respite in a busy and chaotic world.
